Manager, Technical Accounting

Location: United States (Remote); work during the Pacific time zone is required, and working from the San Francisco Bay Area is highly preferred. Quarterly attendance at in-person company gatherings is expected.

OTE base plus bonus: $120,000–$159,000 for approved locations, $128,000–$170,000 for specified California, Washington, and other listed locations, and $140,000–$185,000 for the SF Bay Area, Los Angeles/Orange County, NYC, and Seattle. Includes a 10% bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Research and document technical accounting positions for revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, debt, capitalized software, and significant non-recurring transactions.
• Prepare journal-entry support, quarterly stock-based compensation expense support, and equity-related accounting documentation.
• Own accounting policies and drive new accounting standards from research through operationalization and disclosure impact.
• Prepare statements of equity and cash flows, financial statement footnotes, earnings-per-share disclosures, and stockholders’ equity disclosures.
• Assist with proxy disclosure preparation and support audits with technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, and business teams on contracts and billing structures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 6 years of experience.
• CPA certification required.
• Public accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience.
• Expertise in US GAAP and complex technical accounting matters.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and execution skills.
• Ability to work during the Pacific time zone; candidates must be based in the United States.
