What you will do

• Define and implement development and validation strategies for RESS electrical systems across multiple programs.
• Lead senior electrical DFMEA ownership, ensuring failure modes and detection strategies are technically sound.
• Oversee complex electrical tests, including functional safety, isolation, and fault management.
• Coordinate with Global Virtual Engineering (GVE) and supplier teams to align modeling and testing.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive the continuous improvement of electrical test methods and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in propulsion, battery, or vehicle electrical systems.
• Proven track record of leading complex electrical test programs in safety-critical environments.
• Deep expertise in DFMEA and risk-based prioritization.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-voltage automotive systems and functional safety standards.
• Familiarity with GVDP/GPDP and propulsion program governance.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority.
