Sr. Facilities Manager

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, USA; preferably the Columbus, Ohio area, with travel to client locations 50% or more within a 2–3 hour radius of Columbus

Salary: $110,500–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day operations across facilities and regional retail restaurant locations, including custodial, life-safety, engineering, and maintenance services.
• Manage service contracts, requests for proposals, vendor performance, invoicing, audits, and compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and explain budgets, financial reports, quarterly forecasts, business plans, purchase orders, and capital improvement plans.
• Analyze work-order metrics, costs, service gaps, and recurring issues to drive corrective actions and operational improvements.
• Coordinate vendors, manpower, maintenance programs, and issue resolution across the assigned portfolio.
• Serve as the primary client liaison while maintaining customer focus, tenant relationships, operational consistency, and brand standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of facilities management experience, including at least 3 years at Facility Manager level.
• Experience with leasing, construction, engineering, property operations, building management, and human resources or performance management processes.
• Ability to understand management agreements and contract language, and read construction specifications, blueprints, and single-line diagrams.
• Experience maintaining and monitoring Building Management Systems, with strong Microsoft Office and financial systems knowledge.
• Ability to travel to client locations 50% or more within a 2–3 hour radius of Columbus, Ohio.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting restaurant, retail, multi-site, and high-traffic customer-facing facilities.
• Experience with critical system environments and CMMS or work-order management.
• Certified Facility Manager, IFMA, BOMA, engineering, business, or technical certifications.
• Knowledge of Yardi financial systems.
