Security and Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Architect and operate security technologies across cloud, network, identity, and application layers in hybrid environments.
• Build safety guardrails into the agentic AI platform to prevent failures like agent playbook bypasses from reaching customers.
• Engineer automated detection and response workflows using SIEM, CSPM, and SOAR integrated with Datadog and Sentry.
• Convert recurring security and infrastructure requests into self-serve tooling to eliminate ticket queues.
• Translate regulatory frameworks like NIST SP 800-53, PCI DSS, and CIS Benchmarks into enforceable technical controls.
• Mentor security and platform engineers through design reviews and lead long-term architectural initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canhirify.global.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or security engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS; experience with Azure is a significant plus.
• Strong expertise in Terraform or CloudFormation and policy-as-code.
• Experience securing LLM and agentic AI systems, including failure isolation and safe tool use.
• Proven ability to translate risk and compliance requirements into concrete engineering solutions.
