What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain security systems including SIEM, DLP, and Web/Email Gateways.
• Design and implement security technologies to mitigate threats to corporate networks and assets.
• Analyze system logs to identify unauthorized access and communicate security metrics to leadership.
• Participate in emergency response and investigate security incidents, including hacker attacks.
• Create technical requirements, standards, and detailed proposals for new security capabilities.
• Perform periodic risk assessments and evaluate new security tools for efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Irving, TX (Hybrid, 4 days in office).
• 1-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and infrastructure design.
• Experience securing cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and container deployments (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages like Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CCNP-Security, GIAC, CEH, or CPTS.
• Experience with Terraform and declarative IaC approaches.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Experience working in AI-enabled environments using tools like Microsoft Copilot.
