What you will do

• Supervise first-level production team, managing attendance, time-keeping, and employee discipline.
• Ensure cost-effective and on-time delivery of products and spare parts to customers.
• Develop a customer-focused team culture with an emphasis on operational flexibility.
• Drive 100% implementation of continuous improvement processes.
• Manage staff headcount and skill levels while maintaining high employee motivation and morale.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to facilitate the smooth introduction of new products and processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in assembly shopfloor management.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing management leading critical processes or projects.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.
• Proficiency in office software including SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and team motivation skills.
• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Qingdao, China.

Nice to have

• Experience with pumps, compressors, or motors.
• Technician certificate.
• Experience in 6S and lean manufacturing activities in a workshop.
• Experience leading quality improvement projects through multi-disciplined teams.
