What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 casting design engineers and coordinate their workflows.
• Develop new designs for cast iron and cast steel components that meet technical and business requirements.
• Perform Design FMEAs and Technical Reviews to establish risk and validation plans.
• Coordinate analysis activities and collaborate with suppliers and purchasing teams for part sourcing.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve production quality issues and evaluate part nonconformances.
• Support local assembly facilities and actively participate in APQP activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering.
• English: Advanced level (C1) required.
• Expertise in Creo modeling and stress analysis.
• Expertise in designing hydraulic parts/systems and cast/machined components.
• Knowledge of gray and ductile iron casting processes.
• Proficiency in DFMEA, APQP, and PPAP methodologies.
• Must have valid work authorization for Mexico (Visa sponsorship is not available).
