Senior Research Analyst – Solar PV Supply Chain and Technology

What you will do

• Lead original research and analysis on solar module technology evolution, supply chain trends, vendor competition, international trade, costs, and pricing.
• Develop, improve, and maintain proprietary analytical models, databases, data platforms, and forecasts for solar systems and technology coverage.
• Collect and validate market intelligence through surveys, interviews, primary research, and secondary research.
• Produce market reports, industry insight pieces, presentations, and thought leadership on solar PV supply chains and technology.
• Collaborate with research, modelling, supply chain, sales, marketing, and consulting teams across the global power and renewables business.
• Build relationships with clients and industry stakeholders, support advisory assignments, and represent research at conferences, webinars, and media engagements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the solar power industry, with significant focus on the solar PV supply chain.
• Practical experience with a renewable energy developer, investor, supplier, solar supply chain company, or large power consumer.
• Deep understanding of global solar supply chain trends, challenges, opportunities, project costs, and pricing structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, writing, presentation, and organisational skills.
• Ability to translate complex datasets and technical analysis into clear, commercially actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a matrixed global team, including guiding junior analysts.
