What you will do

• Identify new inward investment projects through publicly available sources.
• Verify project data and gather additional information via web-based research.
• Maintain the fDi Markets database by entering new projects and updating existing records.
• Track global foreign direct investment trends and identify potential investment leads.
• Support the sales team with geographical research and data.
• Ensure data integrity by following established research methodologies.

Requirements

• Must be based in Belfast for hybrid work (averaging 2-3 days onsite).
• Qualification at A-level or equivalent, ideally in business, economics, or research.
• Strong desk-based and online research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Nice to have

• Degree (2:1 or above) in a business or research-related subject.
• Knowledge of European or international languages.
• Understanding of economic globalisation and foreign direct investment.
• Previous experience in database management or online information environments.
