Salary: $37/hour plus bonus potential, equivalent to approximately $5,920/month at 160 hours.

What you will do

• Administer methadone as prescribed and observe patients to assess their response to treatment.
• Screen and assess new and existing patients, collect urine specimens, and monitor laboratory work and physicals.
• Maintain accurate dosing records and prepare courtesy and vacation dose packages.
• Manage medical supply inventory and ensure medications are received, stored, and handled according to DEA regulations.
• Support regulatory, licensing, and accreditation compliance while creating a respectful patient environment.
• Collaborate with counselors and nursing staff, mentor new team members, and continue developing clinical skills.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Rhode Island required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and frequent computer use.
• Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment and work safely around potential bloodborne pathogens.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities, make sound decisions, and work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction treatment.
• Knowledge of medication dispensing equipment, centrifuges, physical assessment tools, breathalyzers, and other clinical devices.
• Strong data entry, computer, and electronic medical records skills.
• Phlebotomy certification or willingness to obtain it when required.
