What you will do

• Administer methadone and other medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Evaluate and assess new and current patients for treatment appropriateness.
• Collect and process urine specimens and record results accurately.
• Maintain medical supply inventories and medication records.
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and collaborate with counselors.
• Ensure the treatment center meets all accreditation and quality health standards.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid LPN/LVN or RN license in the state of Iowa.
• Must be able to work onsite in Des Moines, IA.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic computing and data entry skills.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in chemical addiction treatment.
• Phlebotomy certification.
