Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Oversee operational activities across service or manufacturing units, including project management, engineering, production, maintenance, procurement, quality, logistics, and planning.
• Develop business action plans aligned with division and product group strategies and targets.
• Monitor plan implementation, identify deviations, and define corrective actions.
• Prepare annual budgets, track progress, and address cost-related issues within allocated resources.
• Develop programs, projects, goals, and metrics to improve operational performance and optimize working capital.
• Ensure a value-chain perspective is applied to meet customer expectations for quality, service levels, and lead times.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in service or manufacturing operations management.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills, including experience building and developing teams.
• Customer-centric mindset and strong commercial understanding.
• Experience in operational excellence, quality management, and process improvement.
• Fluent English and a full UK driving licence required.
