Junior Mechanical / Piping Designer, Draftsman (Nuclear)

Location: Partial remote hybrid role based in Prague, with a 6–12 month assignment on an international nuclear power plant project near Paris, France. Willingness to travel is required.

What you will do

• Check piping isometrics against process diagrams and the 3D model.
• Prepare piping designs and documentation for fabrication.
• Split individual spooling isometrics into shop and field sections.
• Add shop and field welds to piping isometrics.
• Work under the guidance of an experienced design leader.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Design Technology or a related mechanical or energy discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant design experience in industrial plants is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of PDMS and piping design; additional training is available.
• Technical understanding of piping design and mechanical engineering principles.
• Communicative English and strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel for the international project assignment is required.
