Layout Engineer EIC (Energy)

TL;DR

Layout Engineer EIC (Energy): Designing and modeling electrical, instrumentation, and control layouts for waste-to-energy infrastructure with an accent on 3D coordination, cable routing, and equipment placement. Focus on optimizing system layouts using E3D/AutoCAD and coordinating complex technical documentation across multiple engineering departments.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia. Hybrid: Home office possible 2 days a week.

What you will do

• Develop and model layouts for cable trays, underground pipes, E-houses, diesel generators, and HV areas.
• Perform 3D coordination, including collision checks and defining load/support positions.
• Manage technical documentation and maintenance for E-houses, steel structure modifications, and transformer models.
• Design grounding points and model bus duct systems and construction components.
• Coordinate with DNO, Control/DCS, Crane, and Server room teams to ensure system integration.

Requirements

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or EfW sectors with knowledge of piping and steel structures.
• Proficiency in E3D, AutoCAD 3D, or SmartPlant.
• Strong understanding of PID diagrams and ability to optimize systems independently.
• Fluent English and Slovak (minimum B2 level required).
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong problem-solving skills.
