Mechanical Engineer Equipment & Packages (Energy): Managing technical engineering matters and equipment specifications for waste-to-energy infrastructure projects with an accent on supplier supervision and technical documentation. Focus on optimizing mechanical systems, evaluating bids for RFQ/PO processes, and ensuring HSE compliance during commissioning.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia (Hybrid: Home office possible 2 days a week)

Salary: 2-200 EUR/month (gross)

What you will do

  • Act as the primary technical contact for engineering matters throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop technical specifications to meet contractual requirements, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Prepare documentation for RFQ/PO processes and evaluate supplier bids.
  • Supervise suppliers through pre-inspection and kick-off meetings, reviewing technical and quality documentation.
  • Manage CAE lists and support site teams during erection and commissioning.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in mechanical engineering within Oil & Gas, Energy, or Renewables.
  • Proficiency in preparing specifications for mechanical equipment and systems.
  • English: B2 level required.
  • Local language (Slovak): B2 level required.
  • Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD methodology and CAE tools.
  • Ability to work with international project teams and handle complex technical situations.
