Account Payables Manager

Location: Remote, Idaho; Pennant Service Center locations in Boise, Idaho, and Salt Lake City, Utah

What you will do

• Supervise, train, and mentor the accounts payable team.
• Identify and implement automation solutions to improve financial process efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal departments to analyze financial data and support reporting and process improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve payment discrepancies, and ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Maintain financial data integrity and accurate records in compliance with accounting standards.
• Evaluate and test SOX internal controls over financial reporting, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• At least five years of accounts payable experience preferred.
• Experience identifying and implementing automation solutions in finance or accounts payable.
• Experience with SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct or an equivalent ERP system; Tipalti experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, compliance, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional process improvements and monitor AP team KPIs.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with RPA and other finance automation tools.
