What you will do

• Review high yield bond documentation to produce commercially focused analysis on primary transactions.
• Author topical and thematic reports on secondary situations and covenant trends.
• Provide expert guidance to clients regarding covenant packages of specific issuers.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to build and expand covenant databases and new features.
• Act as a subject matter expert in leveraged finance through seminars, podcasts, and industry conferences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience within a high yield capital markets team at a top-tier law firm.
• Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating high yield bond documentation.
• Deep technical understanding of leveraged finance covenants and definitions.
• Strong commercial awareness of capital structures and leveraged finance markets.
• Established professional network within the leveraged finance community.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
