RUCKUS Senior Systems Engineer (Networking)

Location: Remote in the United Kingdom, with travel across the UK and Ireland—particularly Northern England—around 50% of the time.

What you will do

• Sell and position RUCKUS networking solutions through channel partners alongside Territory, Vertical, and Partner Account Managers.
• Develop and execute territory account plans based on business economics, industry trends, and key vertical markets.
• Deliver technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, enablement sessions, and workshops for partners and end customers.
• Prepare accurate kit lists and high-level solution designs to support the sales process.
• Act as a technical advisor, differentiate RUCKUS solutions, and align network platforms with customer business objectives.
• Support revenue growth and quota achievement through technical sales engagement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience with IP and wireless technologies.
• Proficient understanding of pre-sales engineering, sales processes, and critical account management.
• Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 7, RF propagation, antenna behavior, wireless design assessments, WLAN security, predictive heat maps, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Knowledge of IP routing and switching, WAN/LAN design and configuration, VLANs, QoS, VoIP, BYOD/MDM, mesh networks, wireless controllers, packet capture, and indoor/outdoor wireless deployments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document and present findings to senior leadership.
• Ability to map partner business drivers to customer network platforms and identify network design improvements.

• Experience with the MEDDIC sales methodology and process.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to audiences ranging from technical teams to executive decision-makers.
