IT Systems Engineer

Location: Bulgaria. Onsite role with a hybrid work model and office locations in Sofia, Plovdiv, and Stara Zagora.

What you will do

• Manage the lifecycle, inventory, documentation, tagging, and compliance of IT hardware and office devices.
• Maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, and connectivity; coordinate troubleshooting with vendors and ISPs.
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, onboarding, offboarding, patching, endpoint protection, MFA, and device encryption.
• Administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, VPNs, password managers, productivity tools, and other business-critical applications.
• Provide operational support for AWS, GCP, Azure, and hosted environments while collaborating with engineering and DevOps teams.
• Support users, internal IT projects, automation, process improvement, audits, compliance reviews, and vendor coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technology discipline.
• 1+ years of experience for Junior level or 3+ years for Regular level in system administration, IT support, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware lifecycle management, asset inventory, documentation, network infrastructure, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with identity and access management, endpoint management, patching, antivirus or EDR, MFA, and device encryption.
• Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, TISAX, compliance, audits, incident response, onboarding/offboarding, and IT cost optimization.
