What you will do

• Provide operations support for chemical and gas systems, focusing on maintenance and troubleshooting of metrology equipment.
• Prepare and pull samples from various equipment, including blenders, CDMs, and bulk systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and vendors to maintain analytical equipment and oversee repair activities.
• Operate the Agilent 8900 ICP-MS to run bottle samples for characterization and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Knowledge of analytical chemistry laboratory functions and instrumentation.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.
• NFQ L6 with at least 3 years of relevant experience or NFQ L7 with 0 to 3 years of experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with analytical chemistry techniques, specifically sample preparation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with the operation and maintenance of Agilent ICP-MS instruments.
