Salary: $185,000 - $296,100 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end process of developing and executing hirify.global’s LAC policy strategy, ensuring alignment with global corporate goals.
• Identify key themes and opportunities across digital payments, financial inclusion, data governance, and cybersecurity.
• Design proactive, evidence-based policy responses to anticipate and assess regulatory and political developments.
• Orchestrate relationship management with regional LAC development banks, NGOs, industry associations, and research centers.
• Manage the operational backbone of the LAC Government Affairs function, including budget, headcount planning, and resource optimization.
• Partner with global centers of excellence on AI, open banking, digital currencies, and instant payments.

Requirements

• 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years with an Advanced degree).
• Relevant experience in public policy, government affairs, or highly regulated sectors.
• Experience in the payments industry is essential.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Proven ability to influence and persuade at the C-suite level and with senior policymakers.
• Ability to act independently within a multi-disciplinary matrixed team.

Nice to have

• Portuguese language proficiency.
• A track record of authoring and contributing to high-impact publications.
• A relevant degree in Politics, Economics, or Law.
