What you will do

• Define policy priorities across global trade, national security, AI regulations, and U.S.-China relations.
• Analyze legislative and regulatory proposals to provide actionable business insights impacting products and operations.
• Represent the company before administrative, regulatory, and legislative levels of government.
• Manage relationships with external lobbying firms, policy advisors, and trade associations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, communications, and legal.
• Brief senior leadership on emerging policy trends and risk management strategies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in public policy or government affairs, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics ecosystem.
• Physical residency in the greater Washington D.C. area is required.
• Deep fluency in semiconductors, AI, software, or electronics to translate technical concepts into policy and business risk.
• Demonstrated experience engaging senior officials in the Executive Branch (Commerce/BIS, DoD, State, NSC) and Congress.
• Proven track record of designing structured government engagement strategies and building external coalitions.
