Senior Project Manager (Microsoft Infrastructure & Cloud)

Senior Project Manager (Microsoft Infrastructure & Cloud): Leading the delivery of complex Microsoft infrastructure and cloud transformation programmes for enterprise customers with an accent on Azure, Microsoft 365, security, identity, networking and modern workplace solutions. Focus on managing concurrent programmes, resolving delivery risks, controlling budgets and dependencies, and aligning technical outcomes with customer and commercial objectives.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex or concurrent Microsoft infrastructure projects.
• Lead cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation and workplace transformation programmes.
• Coordinate Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, security and identity workstreams, including technical teams, architects, consultants and vendors.
• Manage project governance, plans, milestones, RAID logs, risks, issues, dependencies and quality assurance.
• Build relationships with senior customer stakeholders and facilitate steering committees, governance meetings and executive reporting.
• Control budgets, forecasts, profitability, change control and contractual obligations while supporting project recovery and pre-sales activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud transformation projects.
• Prince2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience delivering complex Microsoft technology projects in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, security and compliance technologies, infrastructure modernisation, data centre migration or cloud adoption.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and delivering to scope, budget and schedule using Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong planning, forecasting, financial management, stakeholder engagement and risk management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Online.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Microsoft Solutions Partner or IT services organisation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Purview, Sentinel, Azure landing zones, cloud governance and operational readiness.
• Experience with Projector PSA or similar professional services automation tools.
• Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications.
