What you will do
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on pressure, temperature, speed, flow, level, and positioning equipment.
- Manage SAP workflow to ensure safe plant operation, prioritising work and recording all activities in the CMMS.
- Support continuous emissions monitoring, control, communications, automation, and safety systems.
- Collaborate with the Electro-Mechanical Engineer on outage planning and preparation.
- Manage site stock holding of consumables and strategic spares.
- Coordinate and monitor contracted specialist resources to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
Requirements
- Apprentice trained and qualified to ONC/HNC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a C&I or Electrical Engineering discipline.
- Ability to perform hands-on maintenance activities onsite at the power station.
- Working knowledge of DCS and PLC control systems and information management systems.
- Knowledge of current legislation including CDM, HASAWA, DSEAR, PSSR, PUWER, and COSHH.
- Competence in hazard identification and risk assessment.
Nice to have
- Up-to-date CompEx and BS7671 18th Edition qualifications.
- IOSH (Managing Safely) or equivalent qualification.
