What you will do

• Own the technical implementation of SCADA/DCS solutions based on COPA-DATA Zenon, including architecture, configuration, integrations, and operational readiness.
• Integrate automation systems with PLC, MES, Historian, and OT/IT infrastructures such as OPC UA.
• Apply global design standards, templates, and technical guidelines across industrial automation plants.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and validation in regulated pharmaceutical and life sciences environments.
• Troubleshoot automation systems, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, IT, and local site teams; provide documentation, training, and technical support.

Requirements

• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience implementing and designing automation architectures for industrial plants with technical ownership of solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA/DCS platforms, ideally COPA-DATA Zenon, and related automation technologies.
• Knowledge of English at C2 level.
• Ability to travel frequently across Europe and the Americas and work effectively in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other highly regulated industrial projects.
• Knowledge of Spanish or French.
