Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure): Building and operating cloud-based SaaS environments and delivery pipelines with an accent on Infrastructure as Code, automation, monitoring, and service reliability. Focus on designing resilient Azure infrastructure, improving CI/CD delivery, managing incidents and compliance requirements, and supporting financial-sector applications.
Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid work with two office days per week and remote work on other days.
Salary: CAD 98,000–142,000 per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do
- Administer and support cloud-based data management and SaaS environments for internal and external clients.
- Build and manage Azure cloud infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, automation scripts, and release processes.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for Azure services and infrastructure while maintaining high availability.
- Manage incidents, problems, changes, disaster recovery exercises, and business continuity activities.
- Collaborate with development teams and clients, document operational procedures, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud operations, including financial-sector cloud applications.
- Extensive experience with Azure services, Azure DevOps pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python, with experience in CI/CD tooling and application deployment.
- Experience administering Windows and Linux servers, Oracle databases, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, incident management, IT security operations, SOC2, ITIL, and compliance reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, strong communication skills, and experience working in agile cross-functional teams.
