What you will do

• Investigate transaction monitoring alerts and signals to identify suspicious activities and assess integrity risks.
• Analyze complex customer cases and determine appropriate risk mitigation measures in collaboration with other departments.
• Evaluate signals related to Financial Institutions to ensure compliance with international regulatory obligations.
• Contribute to the prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing, and reputational damage.
• Collaborate within an analytical team to share knowledge and deliver high-quality investigations.

Requirements

• Higher vocational education, preferably in Finance, Economics, Law, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Financial Institution or international company.
• Strong understanding of Financial Economic Crime, specifically Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF).
• Knowledge of international financial rules and regulations, with an affinity for risk management and integrity issues.
• Familiarity with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs), and Money Service Businesses (MSBs).
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Utrecht, NL.
