Chief of Staff (AI Neobank)

Location: Japan, Tokyo; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week from the Japan office

hirify.global builds digital financial products, expanding from its insurance platform into spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling and AI-powered neobanking services across Asia.

What you will do

• Drive strategic execution across AI Neobank priorities.
• Build and manage operating rhythms, OKRs, leadership updates, decision tracking and accountability.
• Coordinate workstreams across product, engineering, licensing, market expansion, partnerships, finance and operations.
• Prepare decision memos, board and leadership materials, execution plans and performance reviews.
• Identify risks, gaps and dependencies, and help leadership make trade-offs on people, capital, products and markets.
• Own special projects requiring senior judgment and cross-functional authority.

Requirements

• Experience driving strategic execution across multiple teams.
• Strong judgment, communication, prioritization, follow-through, writing, business analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with founders, CEOs, leadership teams and senior external stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity, work with limited guidance and move from strategy to detailed execution.
• Strong English communication is required; English is the main working language.
• Must be based in Japan and work from the Japan office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in startups, consulting, strategy, operations, fintech, financial services or regional expansion.
