Collections Supervisor (Fintech)

Location: Taguig City, Philippines; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Manage early-stage delinquency accounts from 1 to 15 days past due through digital communication strategies and internal collections operations.
• Prepare, validate, upload, and deliver portfolio files to external collection agencies, and monitor SMS and push notification campaigns.
• Coach the internal collections team, follow up on quality evaluations, reinforce best practices, and conduct performance discussions.
• Coordinate with Quality, Training, Product, CX, Engineering, Data, Legal, Marketing, and Finance teams to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Supervise external agencies handling accounts more than 16 days past due, including portfolio allocation, documentation, and performance monitoring.
• Analyze recovery rates, campaign profitability, operational metrics, month-over-month results, and recovery experiments to improve collection strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in collections management, team leadership, and customer service.
• Experience with collection management software, operational tools, and Google or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of credit reporting procedures, collection compliance standards, and local collection regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, feedback, and coaching skills.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, work under pressure, and communicate empathetically and assertively with clients.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
