Electrical Engineer - Cable Sizing/Routing

What you will do

• Design and implement cable routing structures for power, instrumentation and control, and other electrical systems.
• Interpret layout and electrical diagrams to route cables accurately from origin to endpoint.
• Support the layout and integration of cable trays, ducts, and penetrations across facilities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align cable routing with system architecture and site requirements.
• Perform checks for cable separation, bundling, and interconnectivity against safety and technical standards.
• Contribute to documentation and handover preparation for routed cabling systems.

Requirements

• 2–12 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• Understanding of power, control, and instrumentation and control cables.
• Interest in highly regulated technical environments such as energy and infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from experienced engineering teams.
• The role may require Security Clearance and completion of Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cable routing tools, schematics, and physical layout coordination.
• Experience with cable routing, site layouts, or electrical infrastructure design.
• Exposure to nuclear, power generation, or other industrial projects.
