Insider Risk Investigator (AI Security): Conducting human and technical investigations to protect Anthropic’s people, data, and infrastructure with an accent on insider risk detection, sensitive interviews, and security tooling. Salary: $245,000–$305,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Triage technical detection alerts and external threats targeting employees.
• Conduct end-to-end insider risk investigations, including sensitive interviews and technical analysis.
• Analyze logs and evidence from SIEM, DLP, UEBA, SOAR, and related security systems.
• Develop insider risk indicators, scenarios, documentation, procedures, and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, Detection and Response, Legal, HR, and other stakeholders on rapid security assessments.
• Support security awareness programs and provide insider risk expertise and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience in a relevant field.
• 5–8 years of experience in insider risk, corporate investigations, or a related domain.
• 3–5 years of experience conducting investigative interviews, including sensitive cases.
• Experience with OSINT, threat assessment or counterintelligence, and internal or external investigations.
• Experience using DLP, UEBA, SIEM, SOAR, and other security tooling for detection and investigation.
• Ability to communicate complex security findings clearly, respond rapidly to time-sensitive requests, and work independently across organizational boundaries.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology, AI/ML, government, defense, or high-security environments.
• Knowledge of counterintelligence investigations and nation-state threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Experience with AI/LLM adoption, data exfiltration investigations, or risks specific to the AI sector.
• Experience contributing to a high-growth startup environment.
