Compensation Consultant (Medtech)

Location: Remote (Must be located on the US West Coast and work within the Pacific Time Zone (PST))

Salary: $65 — $75 USD per hour

What you will do

• Assess and design an enterprise-ready job architecture and career framework.
• Validate career levels, tracks, job families, and title structures across functions and geographies.
• Map current positions to the approved job architecture and identify inconsistencies for remediation.
• Develop governance standards and documentation for future role creation and maintenance.
• Create implementation tools, including leveling guides, manager talking points, and employee FAQs.
• Support annual and off-cycle compensation processes such as merit increases, promotions, and market adjustments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in job architecture design and compensation.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Workday Advanced Compensation module and advanced Excel.
• Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise-wide leveling models and job families.
• Must be based on the US West Coast and available during core hours (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM PST).

Nice to have

• Experience with ADP payroll software and PowerPoint.
• Prior consulting experience with fast-growing global organizations.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), SHRM, or HRCI certifications.
