Line Producer (Sports) (Live Sports Broadcasting): Coordinating and executing live and taped sports programming for MLB, NFL, NBA, soccer, and other properties serving the U.S. Hispanic market with an accent on editorial planning, control room production, and multi-platform content delivery. Focus on directing live studio shows, managing production crews, shaping editorial narratives, and solving complex production challenges under tight deadlines.

Location: Miami, Florida; hybrid schedule with a minimum of four days per week in the office. Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime is required.

What you will do

• Coordinate production schedules, staffing, editorial content, and broadcast deliverables across live and taped sports programming.
• Serve as executive producer in the PCR, directing control room crews and maintaining creative and managerial authority over live studio shows.
• Prepare scripts, rundowns, sound bites, footage, and original editorial content for linear, digital, social, and promotional platforms.
• Field produce stories and live remote productions, including MLB, NFL, and NBA events.
• Coordinate with digital production, marketing, PR, technical, editing, art, and affiliate teams to ensure all elements are ready for air.
• Manage Associate Producers and Production Assistants, assigning work and ensuring timely delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience producing entertainment or sports television programming.
• 5+ years of control room experience, including line producing live and taped programs, and 6+ years of live remote or related production experience.
• Fluent bilingual English and Spanish communication skills, written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcasting, Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of INEWS, MS Office, Avid Interplay, production tools, and post-production equipment.
• Ability to line produce and direct technical crews, manage live production decisions, and work a non-traditional schedule.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Mexican and international soccer, U.S. domestic sports, and the U.S. Hispanic market.
• Experience with social media and multi-platform content distribution.
• Strong editorial sensibility, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in high-pressure live environments.
