What you will do

• Assist producers with story production and conducting pre-interviews.
• Research background information on business and financial news stories using diverse sources.
• Coordinate production requests, feeds, Zoom calls, and schedules.
• Collaborate with technical operations, publicity, promotions, marketing, and dotcom departments.

Requirements

• BA degree in journalism, business, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 1 year of production experience.
• Ability to work onsite at CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with content systems, especially iNews.
• Interest in and proficiency in social media.
• Experience working in live television environments.
• Knowledge of business news.
