What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes with milling capabilities to produce complex parts to close tolerances and fine finishes.
• Inspect completed work and adjust gauging equipment, including micrometers and dial bore gauges.
• Detect unusual conditions, deviating parts, blueprint errors, and operation-sheet issues.
• Interpret complex drawings, GD&T blueprints, sketches, and written operation sheets.
• Follow established machining escalation procedures and support production for military aircraft programs.

Requirements

• At least one year of general machinist experience or graduation from a formal manufacturing, machining, or CNC training program.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; otherwise, ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow machining escalation procedures.
• Familiarity with micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints and written work instructions.
• Participation in the company FAA Drug & Alcohol Program is required for this safety-sensitive position.
