What you will do

• Lead cloud cost management and optimization across 10+ entities including M&A entities.
• Analyze cloud usage trends, identify cost drivers, and provide actionable optimization recommendations.
• Manage cloud budgets, develop financial models for cost allocation, and track against business unit requirements.
• Forecast future cloud and AI usage for existing workloads and new projects moving from on-premises.
• Engage with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle) to negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
• Establish AI governance, including usage tracking, efficiency analysis, and daily/monthly reporting.

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree.
• Proven experience in cloud cost management and optimization (minimum 4 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of cloud pricing, cost structures, and billing models.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
• Must be based in or able to work from Austin, TX to meet the hybrid office requirement.
