TL;DR

Anti-Tamper (AT) /Systems Engineer (Security Engineering) (Cybersecurity): Supporting Naval Aviation acquisition programs by designing and implementing anti-tamper solutions and cyber resiliency for weapon systems with an accent on protecting critical program information (CPI) and resisting reverse engineering. Focus on conducting system trade-off analysis, evaluating weapon system architectures for compliance, and managing program risks.

Location: Onsite in Lexington Park, MD (5 days per week)

Salary: $175,000 – $200,000 per year

What you will do

  • Implement Anti-Tamper (AT) policies, instructions, and guidance throughout the program life cycle.
  • Identify weapon system critical program information (CPI) and determine consequences of compromise.
  • Conduct system trade-off analyses to recommend viable AT solutions.
  • Develop and advocate for AT contractual requirements in support of developmental programs.
  • Evaluate weapon system architectures for compliance with protection standards.
  • Collaborate with Navy V&V teams and other agencies to ensure horizontal protection requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain Top-Secret/SCI.
  • At least 10 years of recent and relevant experience in Systems Engineering and Anti-Tamper.
  • Experience with weapon system architectures that resist reverse engineering.
  • Knowledge of Department of War (DoW) Systems Acquisition Life Cycle.
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Location: Must be based onsite in Lexington Park, MD

Nice to have

  • Master’s Degree in a Technical Field.
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering Transformations.
  • Recent direct experience with DoW acquisitions.
