What you will do

• Design and implement subscription management features and user-facing interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js/Restify for various platform integrations.
• Develop webhook handlers for real-time event processing and integrate third-party billing services.
• Manage user entitlements and access control across Apple, Google, Roku, and other platforms.
• Write clean, testable code with Jest and collaborate on system design improvements.
• Handle occasional on-call technical support and maintain subscription reconciliation processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Senior-level experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and NoSQL databases like Firebase/Firestore.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with Recurly or other subscription billing platforms.
• Experience with Connected TV platforms (Roku, Samsung, Vizio).
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and Docker.
