Lead Developer/Software Architect (Fullstack)

Location: Remote; core working hours in the Eastern Time Zone, with Eastern Canada preferred.

What you will do

• Own the Partner Portal and Billing/Admin Portal across architecture, roadmap, delivery, quality, deployment, and daily operations.
• Translate partner, sales, operations, billing, subscription, licensing, and trial workflows into maintainable software.
• Define and evolve full-stack architecture using React, TypeScript, ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, Node.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, and nginx.
• Build and maintain integrations with HubSpot CRM, Acumatica and other ERPs, telemetry systems, authentication, and SSO components.
• Operate applications across Azure, AWS, and supporting Hetzner infrastructure, including monitoring, logging, alerting, releases, and incident response.
• Provide technical direction, review code, mentor developers, document systems, and collaborate with R&D, Operations, Finance, Sales, Partner, and Support teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including senior or lead ownership of production web applications.
• Strong full-stack proficiency with React/TypeScript on the front end and Node.js/Next.js on the back end.
• Experience designing and operating containerized services with Docker and deploying to Azure or AWS.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms, plus practical relational database and data-modeling experience with PostgreSQL or similar.
• Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, role-based access, and secure handling of sensitive financial and business data.
• Excellent English communication and availability for core hours in EST are required.

Nice to have

• ERP integration experience with Acumatica, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar systems.
• Experience with quoting, billing, subscription, licensing, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, or observability tooling.
• Exposure to AI-assisted or agentic development tools, including LLM APIs, the Vercel AI SDK, or MCP.
• French/English bilingualism, especially for candidates in Québec.
• Experience in SaaS or financial software handling sensitive data.
