SW Engineer (Payments)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States. Hybrid position requiring at least 3 days in the office; travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $79,800–$124,100 USD per year, with possible bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and maintain software products for payment and commerce platforms.
• Develop scalable components for Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later technology.
• Collaborate with Product, Test, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum teams to create software solutions and design artifacts.
• Improve product quality, service technology, and new business flows across e-commerce and payment products.
• Identify and advance bugs affecting website functionality and user experience.
• Contribute to systems and services designed for merchants, businesses, and government customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Experience with one or more development languages or technologies, including .NET, SQL Server, MVC, React, Bitbucket, C++, Java, C#, or SQL.
• Experience building and deploying modern services and web applications with quality and scalability.
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Test, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum teams.
• Must work from the Denver office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, React, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Experience in payments technology or web applications.
