What you will do

• Develop and document software solutions for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System.
• Evaluate system data, requirements, technical reports, proposed solutions, and operational feasibility.
• Design, code, test, review, package, and deploy software features and functions.
• Perform software quality assurance, peer design reviews, and code reviews.
• Analyze system operations and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and products.
• Support technical documentation, configuration files, engineering resolutions, and development issue analysis.

Requirements

• Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility is required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science from an ABET-accredited university with three years of relevant experience, including three years in DoD acquisition; alternatively, seven years of directly related experience with the required certification, including five years in the DoD.
• Experience with Air Force life-cycle management, technical requirements, deliverables, and product validation and verification.
• Familiarity with Air Force life-cycle management processes and regulations for technical documentation and systems engineering.
• Experience with a common programming language relevant to the supported weapon system or program, such as C++, COBOL, Java, HTML, or C#.
• Required cybersecurity, acquisition, and systems engineering qualifications under the specified DoD, DAU, DAWIA, ABET, or INCOSE pathways.
