What you will do

• Support the planning, administration, and technical support of operating system capabilities.
• Assist with developing and implementing engineering solutions in line with project requirements and best practices.
• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and debug software for enhancements and new products.
• Perform quality assurance activities to verify the reliability and functionality of deliverables.
• Document engineering projects and prepare reports on progress, milestones, and outcomes.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of software development methodologies and principles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and related tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in software engineering or a related technical role.
• Experience with student loan servicing, loan origination, payment processing, collections, or related financial services operations.
• Knowledge of Agile, SDLC, SQL, data analysis, reporting platforms, API integrations, and modern technology platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled business processes, automation, data-driven decision-making, engineering teams, and financial services compliance.
