What you will do

• Serve as the technical and commercial liaison between customers and the engineering team to design custom heating solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs and end users to identify new business opportunities and manage the sales pipeline.
• Perform critical application calculations involving heat transfer, airflow, pressure drop, and electrical loading.
• Manage projects from the initial quotation phase through production and final delivery.
• Provide technical guidance on heater selection, system integration, and control strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in applications, product engineering, or technical sales.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer principles, and industrial electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, technical specifications, and using CAD software.
• Ability to travel periodically to customer sites and industry events.

Nice to have

• Experience with electric heating technologies, HVAC, or industrial process equipment.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as UL, CE, or CSA.
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation.
• Experience with SolidWorks.
