What you will do

• Act as the primary liaison between GM and multiple suppliers for Value-Added Assembly (VAA) projects.
• Oversee supplier project planning, integration, validation, and implementation readiness.
• Analyze engineering budget trade-offs between manual and SMART automation opportunities.
• Lead resolution and negotiation strategies between GM and various integrators to remove roadblocks.
• Manage technical direction for outside vendors and support APQP acceptance testing.
• Provide leadership updates on launch readiness, open issues, and escalation needs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Project Lead managing critical timelines and resources.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, automation, and controls.
• Expertise in Automotive Assembly applications and operations.
• Must have valid US work authorization (no sponsorship provided).

Nice to have

• Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Equipment related to VAA Modules.
• Strong passion for customer relations and interpersonal communication.
