What you will do

• Provide leadership, coaching, and technical direction to the engineering team while fostering a culture of innovation.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards for mechanical design, electrical systems, and automation.
• Manage capital projects from concept through startup, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Lead equipment and process improvement projects to reduce downtime and improve throughput.
• Oversee plant automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Collaborate across departments including Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams or major capital projects.
• Experience in food, dairy, beverage, or CPG high-speed manufacturing industries.
• Demonstrated experience leading capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Knowledge of food safety principles, GMPs, and sanitary equipment design.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Experience with ERP, CMMS, or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
