Digitization Production Assistant (TV Production)

Location: Must be performed full-time from the hirify.global worksite in Stamford, CT. Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Digitize videotape, disc, and film archives for the NBC Sports Group.
• Organize and enter metadata for physical media in the group's physical media tracking system.
• Review physical libraries to determine which assets should be digitized.
• Support production teams with footage searches, restores, EDLs, and screeners.
• Track physical media shipments and prepare assets for long-term storage.
• Ensure LTO/ODA assets are updated as they move throughout the facility.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in TV Production or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Avid non-linear editing software and Avid Interplay Media asset management software.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Windows operating environments.
• Minimum 1 year of prior studio or remote sports production experience.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong sports knowledge and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working on large sporting events as a media coordinator or logger.
• Strong knowledge and interest in television production, storytelling, and the Olympics.
• Demonstrated background in contributing to complex projects.
• Self-starter with a sharp eye for visuals and taste for music.
