TL;DR

Senior Account Representative (Sales): Generating revenue by representing enterprise solutions for government agencies with an accent on relational account management and public sector business development. Location: Remote (US). Preference for candidates residing in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Wisconsin, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Occasional travel to Staples, MN required.

Salary: $76,160 – $95,200

What you will do

• Develop and implement customer contact plans to communicate product launches and build new relationships.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer queries and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Identify potential accounts through referrals, networking, and participation in industry tradeshows and conferences.
• Analyze agency needs and present tailored solutions with clear rationales aligned to their objectives.
• Manage the sales pipeline by scheduling follow-ups and maintaining quality data within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to build strong external client relationships.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in government agencies, specifically in purchasing, procurement, contract management, or public administration.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, or strategic account management focused on public sector clients.
• Ability to meet travel requirements approximately eight times per year.
