Sr Quality Engineer (Injection Molding): Establishing and improving quality systems, process controls, inspections, and corrective actions for digital manufacturing operations with an accent on injection molding, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement. Focus on leading complex problem investigations, improving manufacturing capability, managing audits and supplier quality, and implementing solutions that prevent recurrence.
Location: Full-time, onsite at the Plymouth, Minnesota facility; open only to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or individuals with refugee or asylee status due to ITAR requirements.
Salary: $99,900–$133,200 per year

What you will do
- Provide quality assurance leadership for manufacturing and analyze the cost of poor quality.
- Define inspection procedures, control plans, acceptance criteria, testing requirements, and process verification methods.
- Lead investigations and corrective and preventive actions using structured methods such as DMAIC and 8D.
- Characterize manufacturing processes, assess capability and variation, and implement feedback and control mechanisms.
- Lead internal, external, customer, and supplier audits and resolve related quality findings.
- Coach quality and operations engineers, deliver training, and support process transfers and new process introductions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100.
- Experience with Lean, DMAIC, statistical analysis, and tools such as JMP or Minitab.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, training, and leadership skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English and eligibility to work under ITAR restrictions are required; temporary visa holders are not eligible.
Nice to have
- Audit, ASQ, Lean, or Six Sigma certifications.
- Experience with CMM, VMM, R&R, or MSA.
- Experience in CNC machining, injection molding, or 3D printing environments.
