Solutions Engineer - Agents & Automation (AI)

Location: US - Remote

Annual pay range: $150,000–$200,000, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Build and deploy enterprise workforce agents across Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Agent 365.
• Design agent architectures, workflows, automations, integrations, grounding, orchestration, evaluation, and extensibility patterns for customer requirements.
• Implement Power Platform and Azure governance, including environment strategies, zoned governance, managed environments, DLP policies, ALM, pipelines, connector governance, auditing, and lifecycle management.
• Configure Agent 365 security and compliance capabilities using Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra Agent ID, conditional access, and least-privilege access.
• Guide customers and delivery teams through technical design, workshops, implementation, evaluations, observability, responsible AI, and operational best practices.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, design patterns, solution templates, implementation guides, and technical assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Four or more years of experience delivering solutions on Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, or related Microsoft cloud technologies, including hands-on AI or agent-based solutions.
• Practical experience developing production agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry, including first-party and custom-engine agents.
• Experience with declarative and embedded agent experiences across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Fx, and YAML-based configuration patterns.
• Strong understanding of agent architecture, governance, security, and lifecycle management across Power Platform Admin Center, Microsoft 365 admin center, Agent 365, Foundry, and related services.
• Experience acting as a technical advisor and subject matter expert across solution design and implementation decisions.
• Working knowledge of prompt design, evaluation, monitoring, applied AI, and responsible AI practices.
• Familiarity with design-led or human-centered approaches for technical solution design and workflow modeling.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, presentation, facilitation, organization, documentation, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events; work independently; collaborate with sales, delivery, engineering, and leadership stakeholders; and maintain strong data privacy, governance, compliance, and security standards.
