AI Product Engineer (CMH Health)

Location: Hybrid, with a preference for on-site work at the Brookfield, Wisconsin office; remote candidates will be considered. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration support or sponsorship.

Salary: $85,100–$177,675 annually, with location- and experience-based ranges.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and integrate pre-trained AI models into applications using Python or C#.
• Design, develop, maintain, and scale AI-powered healthcare applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, healthcare professionals, and other cross-functional teams.
• Align AI models with data requirements and support data pipelines and data quality.
• Troubleshoot AI-related issues and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Document AI models and applications while following software development and AI ethics best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–4 years of software development experience focused on AI and machine learning applications.
• Experience with foundational model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or Llama.
• Proficiency in Python and C#, plus experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, PromptFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience integrating pre-trained AI models, working with Azure and large datasets, and using software development, version control, and agile practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and related regulatory considerations.
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or data lakes.
